The human being is believed to be the best creation of God, because, the God has poured best of his qualities on to him. But how often does a Man realize this? Not quite, because the Man has confined his vision to external and finite world. The eternal question manifested by the God, “Who am I?” continues to revisit him again and again. In today’s world, where the man has succumbed to materialistic lifestyle, he tries to search an answer to this question, somewhere outside. But more he searches outside, more confused he gets, as the question keeps bouncing back. Thus, man’s quest for knowledge ends up in frustration.

Very few gifted personalities, who have set in pursuit of this question, in right earnest & right direction, have received an echo, “Aham Brahmaasmi”. I am theBrahman. Take any religion or any belief, the answer is one & same, “I am Thee”, I am Allah – the Supreme or I am paramatma. Brahman or paramatma connotes the meaning of omnipresent power, eternal knowledge & bliss, because this expression alone is the origin of all biological evolution in the universe. The quest for real knowledge starts only when man starts looking inwards, when he becomes humble & submissive. Looking inwards means looking for Atma-gyan or self-knowledge. This is an endless journey, where the Man starts breaking the shackles of his finite body. Further he tries to realize the power of his mind and slowly continues his pursuit towards the knowledge of Atman. This process takes the Man from individual consciousness to universal consciousness.

Every soul originates from the Brahman and its ultimate destination is also the Brahman. But this journey is unceasing because every soul has to take birth into some form. Thus, it degrades itself and becomes the jeevatma. From here the journey continues. It is a journey towards knowledge & self-empowerment. Every jeevatma, particularly the human beings are mired by never-ending woes. The man, in his attempt to overcome these miseries, has always strived to acquire the knowledge ofbrahman. This is a drive initiated by a man himself, with the help of blessings and guidance of his sadguru.

But knowledge alone cannot  transcend the man to this eternal bliss. It has to be supported by sincere urge called as devotion or Bhakti and power or shakti. The combination of knowledge, devotion & power is a divine blend, which is possible only when we surrender ourselves unconditionally to sadguru. Our own realization about ourselves or self–knowledge paves way to find the Atma–guru.

Gayatri Mantra  sadhana  facilitates us to embark on our journey towards being Brahman. It is not a quick-fix solution or ‘two+two formula’, rather it is ‘sadhana’ for our own benevolence and for getting integrated with Cosmic Intelligent Energy. The Cosmic Intelligent Energy showers on us, only when we give up our ego and seek sincere apology to others for our misdeeds & misdemeanors in the past life. The Gayatri Mantra  sadhana   makes us humble to the infinite supreme power. The Gayatri Mantra  ‘sadhana’ takes us to the level of unconditional love & selflessness. It is a kind of resurrection & reincarnation where we get a new-found meaning to our life.
