From dec 13 2007 my passion of riding was put to halt. But not too late ,I bought my Classic 500 on Dec 27 2010 and this sparked my passion again . Had always tried to join the elite group of Royal Knights Bangalore which is a premiere Bullet group in Bangalore and I was fortunate to  get  a chance to be a part of it when I was invited to attend the 5^th anniversary ride of Royal Knights Bangalore which is going to be held on April 9 and April 10 2011  at Wayanad- yes you are right…its a place of God’s own ountry – The Kerala.

So started putting the roads on fire by first going with them to Kanva dam. It was a short ride and the ride  was christened with the name “ Breakfast ride”. Royal Knights is an awesome group and I really appreciate each and every one of its members. The group is really disciplined and none of the members showed any indiscipline behaviour on road while driving. They all do what they promise in their website (http://www.royalknightsindia.com/ ) . The knights are very  friendly and all these things really impressed me much. Now coming to the point. The ride started from the Nice road – mysoore road junction (NICE ROAD Junction, Kanakpura Road)in Bangalore where around ten knights met and started to conquer the destiny. After few kilometres of thumping we had our breakfast in Kamat . The buffet breakfast of Rs 80 was good. And after that we again started to reach our destiny the Kanva dam. The roads were good till Kamat and after that to reach the dam we did a bit of off-road ride and the ride was awesome, And all the credit goes to the ride Captain “Navin” and Sweep “ Sunil”. They both played their roles perfectly and helped everyone to enjoy the ride  . All this went good and peacefull and I really liked to ride with Royal knights Bangalore team and I would definitely look to ride with the knights in future too. I love you Royal Knights. I love you Royal enfield as both of the Royals will help me to keep my passion sparkling. Love you all.

Distance from the Nice road – Mysoore road junction : 70 km , 10 Km from ramnagara

Milage I got in Classic 500: 33kmpl in the ride

Route: Bangalore – Mysore road – Ramnagaram – Little away from Janapada Loka right turn – Mud road – Kanva reservior

Get on Mysore road from any part of Bangalore. After you cross Ramnagara, you will see Janapada Loka on the right hand side. Move some more and you will see a sign which say for Kanva Reservoir take right. You will have to take a right turn here and go for the mud road.

Where to Stay: No places to stay,if planning for a night out only with groups try to take a tent with you.

Food : Kamat restaurant before reaching the Kanva dam but no food near the kanva dam so pack some food .
