The below is an extract written by our guruji Pandit sri ram sharma acharyaji in a book The Divine Message Of The Veds for the thought revolution (vichar kranti abhiyan).

“agnistigmena shochishaa
ya ngum sadvishvum nyatrinum
agnirno va ngum satey rayim ”

meaning : O deity of fire! you are doing justice to all .Please destroy wicked persons and obstructive elements by your powerful flames and please give us strength and divinity to those who are religious souls,who worship you and praise you.

Here the God justness is praised in this mantra.he is not partial to any one. We all are childrens’ of the God. As mother can never be partial to their childrens in the same way God can never be partial to their childrens’. So God treats each and every one as equal.So it is impossible to turn him in favour of us by offering any type of sycophancy.Nowadays many people worship god in many ways, do anusthans and rituals and still they remain unhappy,in pain,in want and bad condition.This is because their sentiments are always narrow and wicked.We will certainly get the results of our deeds,even if we may be a religious person.

Even Kabir also said the same as “Mala ferat yug gaya, gaya na man ka fera.Karka manka daride ,manka mamka fer “. Thus there is no need of mala or reciatation of gods name if you didnt improve your thinking . Why nowadays people cannot be as divine as earlier even they do so much religious activities.Why?

My dear brother ,if you cannot change yourself first and cannot imbibe the divine qualities within you than even if you had recited 1lakh times the name of god or even more your sins cannot be washed nor your life will change.God never says to always worship me ,god never says to offer me this much money or that much …etc. he says to gain divine quality first within yourself.And for this religious activities will help you,but not the opposite ,that, you do religious activity always and you will be imbibed with divine blessings.the later can never happen.But what is the divine qualities. In short there are three types of characteristics : satva element ( morality,goodness,kindness,love,compassion,forgiveness,etc.),rajas element(charactersitic of continously running after wealth,luxury,riches.etc) and tamas element(means darkness,anger,lust,greed,attachment,lowly and henious tendencies). So man has to strive to evolve from lowly tamas tendencies to the rajas tendencies and develop the satva or satvik tendencies- that is the ultimate goal of vedic dharma.Only the satvik knowledge saves us from bad deeds and wicked tendencies and this knowledge by manifesting in life ,can make the life beaitiful.

So the religious activity combined with the good deeds is a terrific combination and than only our life will be bliss. We cry that the world should be this or that. The politicians are corrupted and all. But we are forgetting that we are the only persons who had made this world that you are seeing now.So we should change ourselves first and by seeing you lot many can be inspired and than the world can change. But to bring heaven on this earth we should be religious and spiritual too.without which, the same is not possible. You might have seen the stories of gandhiji . He was very lean and thin but still he could bring the change that he wanted. How this could have happened ? This was only because of his spiritual strength.With the good deeds and with spiritual strength ,the strength of the soul increases and when this happens your will power becomes strong and which leads to achieve your goal and this type of person only can succeed in life and the world paves way for these type of persons.

Everyday and every moment we must remember good resolve that we shall always believe God as just and present everywhere and adopt his law in our lives.Therein lies our salvation.with its help we shall be liberated from the desire of sons,money,fame and save our souls from sins.Only then shall we get the strength of soul,the strength of intelligence,the strength of money and divinity.

That itself is called the worship of God.
